What would happen if history was written by the people? 

America is a melting pot of culture, ideals, varying generations, and patriotism.  But what do the people have to say about what they think is going on, in their hometown? In their state? In their country? And around the world?

American Reality is a feature length documentary that will give a voice to the people, by traveling from New York to California and stopping in 20 states along the way, while taking the time to interview over a 1000 individuals between 13-35 years old.  The voices and images we capture are an attempt to capture what it means to be an American in this day and age.  We are examining how the American dream has been historically perceived, and maybe how it has changed through the generations?  We are documenting the impact that the internet is having throughout America, and how it will further affect the youth.  We are observing where the youth is headed as a culture, and examining how they feel as young Americans about what is going on around them? 

This is a road-trip with one camera, two people, four time zones, 20 states, one dream, and your reality.  This film is open to anyone who is willing to speak their mind, anyone who has ever told a story about where they come from, and where they want to go one day.  This is a film for the backbone of America, to raise awareness about its people, and their reality, by letting the people speak up into a medium that will be seen around the world.  This movie is just the beginning of where film, technology, and people can come together and be united.
